Welcome to Year 3
Miss Riches is our class teacher, supported part time by Mrs Pullan, and Mrs Starkey will cover PPA time.
PE days will be Tuesday and Wednesday (swimming).
The first swimming session is Wednesday 16th September.
Reading books will be collected in on a Thursday and sent home on a Thursday.
Spellings will be sent home on a Wednesday and tested on Wednesday.
Mental arithmetic will be tested on a Wednesday.
Please make sure water bottles are brought in each day and pumps are in school for each child.

Welcome to Year 3!

Our first full week has been busy with lots of learning. We are enjoying finding out about the explorer Ernest Shackleton and have been working with base 10 to represent and partition numbers up to 1000. It has been great to see all the children being back with their friends and starting their learning journey in key stage 2.
