Welcome to Spring Term in Year 3!
Happy New Year! We hope you have all had a super Christmas and New Year and are looking forward to the year ahead!
On this page, you should find everything you need to know - our Meet the Teacher Information Evening presentation, curriculum map, knowledge organisers and weekly blog (starting on Friday) are full of information but please contact us should there be anything else you need - please address any emails to both teachers.
Mrs Moleele will be teaching on Mondays and Tuesdays and Miss Christie will teach on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Mrs McDonald and Miss McNamara will be our teaching assistants all week. Miss Smith and Mrs Starkey will cover PPA time.

Stone Age

The children are absolutely loving their new Stone Age topic! They are so engrossed, both in writing lessons and in history lessons and have had lots of comments and thoughts about it. I thought we'd never get today's lesson back on track once we'd talked about how they used animal dung to cement their houses together!! Next week, the children will be writing up their planned stories about falling into the Stone Age by accident - they were brimming with ideas this week of woolly mammoths, sabre-tooth tigers and campfires! Can't wait to read them on Wednesday, Year 3!
