Welcome to Year 3
Miss Riches is our class teacher, supported part time by Mrs Pullan, and Mrs Starkey will cover PPA time.
PE days will be Tuesday and Wednesday (swimming).
The first swimming session is Wednesday 16th September.
Reading books will be collected in on a Thursday and sent home on a Thursday.
Spellings will be sent home on a Wednesday and tested on Wednesday.
Mental arithmetic will be tested on a Wednesday.
Please make sure water bottles are brought in each day and pumps are in school for each child.

Torch Fun

We had the torches out again so they’ve made it onto the blog! The children enjoyed investigating shadows formed by opaque objects and checking if materials were opaque, translucent or transparent!
