Welcome to Year 3
Miss Riches is our class teacher, supported part time by Mrs Pullan, and Mrs Starkey will cover PPA time.
PE days will be Tuesday and Wednesday (swimming).
The first swimming session is Wednesday 16th September.
Reading books will be collected in on a Thursday and sent home on a Thursday.
Spellings will be sent home on a Wednesday and tested on Wednesday.
Mental arithmetic will be tested on a Wednesday.
Please make sure water bottles are brought in each day and pumps are in school for each child.

A short half term but a good one - lots of super learning and fun! This week, the children have enjoyed competing in the Brownlee triathlon, continued with some artistic sculptures, written character descriptions of their favourite film characters and kept practising telling the time. Any further practice of time-telling over the half term holiday (both analogue and digital) would be really beneficial and please remember our PE sessions will both be on a Wednesday next half term with us taking part in Forest School, and other than that, just have a lovely holiday and see you back for the last half term of Year 3 in 10 days!
