Welcome to Autumn Term in Year 2! Please find on this page all the information you might need this year. There is a long term plan as well as Autumn's knowledge organisers below, which will be updated termly. Should you need anything further, please get in touch!
Mrs Moleele will be teaching on a Monday and Tuesday and Miss Christie will teach on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Miss Smith will support the children throughout the week with Mrs McDonald and Miss Battye sharing the week between them.

Learning about empathy

In PSHE this week, we have been thinking about feelings and how everybody can have different feelings about similar situations. We looked at different feelings and how part of being a good friend is being able to understand the feelings of others. We considered how we could show empathy by ‘putting ourselves in someone else’s shoes’ to understand their feelings. We finally came up with advice for someone who might be anxious about moving house.
