Thinkuknow is the education programme from NCA-CEOP, a UK organisation which protects children both online and offline.

Thanks to the internet, there are now many ways for your children to watch TV, both the old fashioned way on a big screen and via the internet with on-demand programming. Restricting and controlling what your children can watch is harder than ever, but you can make TV safer and limit the amount that they can watch.

A lot of the information about the Momo Challenge is rather concerning so in line with all online safety advice we would suggest that parents are encouraged to:
Ensure they know what their children can access online
Ensure children understand the importance of not giving personal information to anyone they do not know
Tell their children no-one has the right to make them do anything they do not want to do
Use parental controls to keep children safe
Among the most common signs to watch out for include children who:
Become very secretive, especially about what they are doing online
Are spending a lot of time on the internet and social media
Are switching screens on their device when approached
Are withdrawn or angry after using the internet or sending text messages
Have lots of new phone numbers or email addresses on their devices
| Travel Safety |
The safety of our children, including the journey to and from school, is a major concern and is of the highest priority. Working with partner agencies such as the Local Authority, the Police, the Highway’s Department and Local Councillors’, we endeavour at all times to keep our children safe from danger
Our Travel Plan is a plan that is put in place to support parents and children getting to school. We have been working hard over the last year to achieve a number of key aims. The main aim is to positively influence how children travel to school every day. Active travel, which includes walking, cycling, scooting and park and stride, has many benefits such as being more active, reducing congestion on the roads outside of school and reducing the number of vehicles parked around school.
