Christian Values

As a Christian school we have, at the heart of everything we do, an agreed set of Christian Values. These values set the theme for our collective and class worship and are referred to in the everyday life of our school. As part of our positive behaviour policy, children are given acknowledgement when they demonstrate they are evidencing a Christian value, for example ‘being generous in the playground’

Throughout our RE curriculum, we also promote our Christian values and educate our pupils about the faiths and beliefs of people from different countries and organisations. We believe that our Christian identity plays an important role in upholding British Values within our school community, these are also identified in our Long term RE Plan

These values where possible are linked to the school PSHE and directly to our RE programme. Each term there is a focus on 5 Christian Values
