Christmas Fayre

Dear Parents, the Christmas Fayre opens at 12noon THIS SATURDAY 3rd Dec 16!

The event team Julia, Sam & Alex would like to share the following updates:

Empty clean Jam Jars - Thanks to all who have donated jam jars so far. We received 60 and volunteers stayed behind after drop off Weds 29th Nov to help fill sterile jam jars with tasty sweeties.

Cake boxes - Please remember to help stock the Xmas Fayre Bun Stall by sending buns back into school in the boxes provided on Friday 2nd Dec or early Saturday 3rd Dec..

Volunteer Rota - This is filling up, this will be located outside school gates at drop off/collection daily and also posted on the PTA Xmas Fayre web page, the event team have attempted to shorten support slots and consolidate some activities to free up volunteers to enjoy the Fayre alongside. Please sign up to help out where you can and if you have any questions please contact for games/stalls Sam at sam@besau.co.uk for refreshments Julia at Julia.Sheer@hotmail.co.uk.

Refreshments - We still require support of an additional 3 volunteers. If anyone is able to support preparation / supply or cooking of the food please contact Julia as above. Thanks to those who have lent Panini makers to the PTA. Some of the refreshments on offer this year are:

  • Homemade Samosas / Bahjis
  • Jacket Potatoes (Chilli / Cheese/ Beans)
  • Pizza Slices (Margharita / Pepperoni)
  • Hot Chocolate & Marshmallows
  • Plus the usual Tea, Coffee, Chocolate, Crisps, Pop etc

Toys/Books are appreciated for the Toy stall

Uniform -  items too small? Please drop them into school, as we will display them giving other parents the opportunity to utilise. It’s a shame to waste decent clothing.

Julia and Sam will be on hand with the floor plan and task list from 3.15pm until 5.00pm on Friday and from 09.15am on Saturday for set up activities, if you have volunteered to help set up please ensure you find them on arrival to determine what they need your help with.

Thanks for your continued support.
